10' Fixture Ground Wire

Dependably ground your lighting fixture with the 10-Foot Fixture Ground Wire. This 18-gauge copper wire is 10 feet long to give you plenty of slack for your installation projects. Use this wire with other Westinghouse hardware and kits to maintain high quality in your lighting fixture installation and repair work.

To ground a lighting fixture, you must first remove the fixture canopy. Next, connect one end of the ground wire to the ground screw on the crossbar. Then thread the ground wire next to the fixture wire through the fixture chain (if applicable). Finally, securely connect the other end of the ground wire to the body of the light fixture using the existing locknut and washer.
